Anton Stadler’s duos for clarinet are collected into a single volume for the first time, and include hitherto unpublished music. Six Duettinos afford the opportunity for clarinettists to perform a range of short movements in different tempos and styles, with the distinction between first and second clarinet writing being consistently maintained. The six Duo Concertantes differ in their more democratic treatment, with solos and accompaniments equally distributed.
