This lovely Benny Carter swing ballad was written in 1996 for Benny to use on his visits to college campuses. The arrangement is designed to feature an alto saxophone soloist with the ensemble. The ensemble states the "A" section melody while the also soloist takes the bridge for the first chorus. The 2nd chorus features an alto solo for the "A" sections (with sax section backgrounds), a sax soli for the bridge and then the ensemble for the last "A". This is not a difficult arrangement and would be a great opportunity to allow an alto player to be in the spotlight! The recording features Benny with the Eastman College Jazz Ensemble.
