This well known soprano aria from the Marriage of Figaro translates beautifully to an arrangement for string quartet. And why not? Mozart's vocal music is often quite instrumental in style and basically seems to come right from the piano. There's the melody and then the accompaniment integrated into a great four part setting. This piece works well for a back ground classical music situation. Or, can be performed in concert. It's "easy" but deceptively difficult as Mozart always is. Intonation and tone control are always important and sometimes hard to achieve, so worth a look before trying to perform.
