This piece provides the opportunity to practise some syncopated rhythms, simplified from the original without losing its feel. Teachers can use it to focus on phrasing with your student, and use the analogy of a singer breathing between phrases. It would also be an ideal piece to introduce some pedalling. This arrangement is 39 bars long (intro, verse, chorus), includes notes of the treble clef including leger lines, two- and three-note chords, syncopation, fingering suggestions and accidentals. It has been simplified for you to enjoy without losing the character of the original.
