Vorhanden waren nur die bereits komponierten Melodien, zu welchen bei der Einübung die rhythmischen und klanglichen Instrumentalgestaltungen – z. T. durch Erfindung der Kinder selbst – festgelegt wurden. Die Kantate soll ausschließlich von Kindern als Tanzpantomime oder Schattenspiel aufgeführt werden. Eine szenische Darstellung ist nicht unbedingt erforderlich; wird sie jedoch vorgenommen, so muß beachtet werden, dass es sich weder um ein Ballett noch um eine Oper handelt.
