Creative Last Verses are a way of encouraging good congregational singing. My settings have been recognised for their quality for many years. The descants add ' the icing on the cake' if you have trebles in the choir. The late Dr Gerre Hancock organist at St Thomas Church, New York, said in 1996 that my first last verses were 'excellent arrangements'. More recently, Anne Marsden Thomas organist and organ teacher in the UK said they contained ‘inventive harmonies’ and were a 'godsend for church organists'.
