March on, Friends was written to honor the memory of some longtime friends – Ed Meyers (1930-2019) and Doug Godfrey (1931-2017). These two beloved gentlemen played in the military and taught music in public schools.

March On, Friends is a three-minute march and a grade level of about 3.5 in difficulty. It contains bugle calls and inverted bugle calls and is rather melodic. It is fun to play and everyone in the band gets a chance as the melody and counter melodies are shared by all the instruments.
