I composed this piece for the early string orchestra at the ability level of 2nd to 3rd year. All the instruments are scored in 1st position only. I also doubled the 2nd violin with the viola, and the cello with the bass. This was done to accomodate ensembles that might have incomplete instrumentation while still allowing for all of the parts to be covered. Written in the key of G major with a modulation to the key of C major. I also included an optional harp part. Thank you!
