The latter was introduced to the international musical scene by the famous singer Luciano Pavarotti after the illustrious tenor had heard Bocelli singing Zuchhe- ro's 'Miserere'. The song, closely related to the style of an Italian opera aria, became even more famous thanks to Sarah Brightman's version. Willy Hautvast made a fine a sounding arrangement for symphonic band.
