I would recommend this book to anyone who is passionate about Baroque keyboard music. Of course this music was written for the harpsichord, or clavier, but it works well on a modern keyboard, or piano, or organ. Some of the material is very challenging, but some is quite easy, though very pleasant sounding and doesnt sound simplified. Also of note is that this version is from the edition which Camille Saint-Saens edited. High praise indeed!

I had played this delightful piece, apparently attributed to Rameau, as a child; and recently rediscovered my fondness for it. I no longer have access to the Classiques Favorites volumes so stumbled upon this site as part of a web search for the song. I have not tried the other pieces, but am certain I will enjoy them. I find this genre of music quite appealing. Being that it is French makes it all the more pleasant, albeit I normally favor Impressionistic music. :)
