Comfort, Comfort belongs to the category of Calls to Repentance. It originated in the 16th century but has recently been made into a hymn. I have taken it back to its roots and edited it into an a capella plainchant. Originally written for St. John the Baptist Day, it can be used year around for Repentance, and especially at Lent and Advent. It is presented in a Lead Sheet format with just melody and lyrics. (The website erroneously says it has chord symbols only because it does not offer a category for plainchant.) 4 verses, 1 page, 2:50 minutes vocal range - 9th; available on this site in Low (low A to B), Medium (middle C to D), High (E to high F).
