Giuseppe Manzino's teaching activity, carried out with great commitment and passion alongside that of composer, spans a rather long period of time and constitutes an important constant in his life as a musician. This publication, albeit in a few pages, intends to help focus on one aspect of this intense and articulated activity: that of Composition teacher at the Liceo Musicale <The themes and thematic ideas present in this collection were created by Manzino ad hoc for his composition students and freely arranged by me into three distinct sections according to their destination. A diagram by Manzino for the composition of the 'short piece for piano' is included in the appendix.
