Created by Dennis and Nan Allen, Code Red is an unpredictable and unforgettable collision of humor and truth that delivers a strong evangelistic message to young and old alike. The storyline follows a group of teens who spend a night in the emergency room trying to see a friend who has just had an accident. Their venturesome and crazy experiences in the E. R. take a serious turn when they realize that they have been more concerned about their friend's physical health than her spiritual condition. The story features four main characters--two guys and two girls--plus 11 minor character walk-ons. (Since the minor roles are not on stage at the same time, one teen could perform more than one role.)

Arranged for SAB choir, the easy-to-stage musical features several solos which can be performed by characters or other choir members. Dennis and Nan offer six original titles, along with songs from Steven Curtis Chapman, Wes King and Truth. A special plus is the Bible study guide by Nan Allen included in the back of the book along with Scriptures and a section on discipleship training that will help youth share Christ with their friends.
