This is an arrangement for woodwind quintet of Gabriel Fauré's piece Clair de lune from Deux mélodies, Op. 46. It is the second of this set of two songs. I scored the left hand part of the piano accompaniment for bassoon and horn in order to take pressure off of the bassoon player. A little harmony and counterpoint have been added to make this more suitable for a wind quintet and add some interest. This is a beautiful piece that I believe could be played by an intermediate ensemble.
