About the Composer: Ciro Pinsuti (9 May 1829 – 10 March 1888) was an Anglo-Italian composer who studied under the legendary Gioachino Rossini. After his education in Italy, Pinsuti moved to England in 1848, where he became a renowned teacher of singing and a professor at the Academy of Music in London. His works include popular parlour songs like "I Fear no Foe" and "Bedouin Love Song," and although his operas are less performed today, they remain a testament to his talent and contribution to music.
