Christmas on the Rocks collects together four world famous English Christmas carols in an instrumental pop arrangement. Optionally, the audience or a choir can also sing along. If so, the conductor gives the cues. The following Christmas carols are included in this work: God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen; Joy to the World; Away in a Manger (one verse flute solo), and Deck the Halls.

Christmas on the Rocks is een verzameling van vier wereldberoemde Engelstalige kerstliederen in een instrumentale popzetting. De liedjes kunnen optioneel door het publiek of een koor meegezongen worden. In dat geval geeft dedirigent het teken. De volgende carols zijn in het stuk verwerkt: God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen - Joy to the World - Away in a Manger en Deck the Halls.

In Christmas on the Rocks sind vier weltberühmte englischsprachige Weihnachtslieder in einer instrumentalen Pop-Bearbeitung versammelt. Die Lieder können optional vom Publikum oder einem Chor mitgesungen werden. In diesem Fall gibt der Dirigent den Einsatz. Folgende Weihnachtslieder wurden in diesem Werk verarbeitet: God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen; Joy to the World; Away in a Manger (1 Strophe Flötensolo) und Deck the Halls.

Christmas on the Rocks rassemble quatre chants de Noël anglais bien connus dans un arrangement instrumental de style pop. Si on le souhaite, le public ou un choeur peuvent chanter en même temps, auquel cas le chef d’orchestre leur donnera les indications appropriées.
