Trumpet Duet Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download

Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Nigel Williams. Easter,Instructional,Multicultural,World. Score. 10 pages. Nigel Williams #6358715. Published by Nigel Williams (A0.763728).

The great Easter hymn tune Lyra Davidica is stated maestoso on the organ, two staves with independent Pedal. The grand and powerful slow moving organ chords provide the perfect platform for the two trumpets, dancing in a polyphonic style in and around the chorale. The frequent use of false relations adds to the grand Renaissance style this arrangement emulates. A terrific postlude for Easter Day services of worship and also great duet recital repertoire for more advanced high school and college trumpeters. The score downloads with two B flat parts attached and is one of my forty or so arrangements for either trumpet and organ or trumpet duet and organ - all available on SMP and SMD.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
