The grand and powerful slow moving organ chords provide the perfect platform for the two trumpets, dancing in a polyphonic style in and around the chorale. The frequent use of false relations adds to the grand Renaissance style this arrangement emulates. A terrific postlude for Easter Day services of worship and also great duet recital repertoire for more advanced high school and college trumpeters.
