Great EZ Easter Anthem - Works well with Piano

This is a great Anthem even for a small choir. It has easy voicing, and although the accompaniment is for organ I prefer the sound of it on the piano. The triumphant, marcato Christ is Risen opening melody allows voices to shine through the bombastic rhythmic accompaniment that is contrasted with a slower legato section that leads once again back into the memorable strains of Christ is Risen and ends big. I think of this anthem as a short masterpiece, and it is one of my favorites.
