Cave of the Winds was originally written by Robert Nathanial Dett as a march for piano and subtitled “March and Two Step”. Devon Morales arranged this boisterous, carnival romp with lightness and frivolity at Level 3. Students will enjoy performing chromatic scales, hooked bows, and triplet 16th notes to create a playful rendition of a march which was said to have been admired by John Philip Sousa.
