Guitar, Solo Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download
SKU: A0.1531010
Composed by Katherine K. Davis. Arranged by Dawson Music UK. This edition: pdf, streaming. 20th Century, Christmas, Classical, Sacred. Individual part. 6 pages. Dawson Music UK #1104258. Published by Dawson Music UK (A0.1531010).
This is an original arrangement for solo percussive classical guitar of the classic Christmas piece Carol of the Drum, aka The Little Drummer Boy. Scored in standard notation only, this version utilises several percussive techniques, such as body taps and tambora, all of which are explained in the glossary at the end of the score. Watch the link to a full live performance.
The full range of the fingerboard is utilised and there are several barres, but despite the percussive techniques this arrangement is approximately grade 5-6 level (ABRSM).
