The faith and obedience of the Wise Men to God's sign of the star is captured in this musical journey across the sands to Bethlehem. Along the way there's a stop at Herod's house, but very quickly you once again feel the sway of the camels. Sparkling mallet techniques and chimes find the travelers kneeling before the Christ child. With a four-measure "warning", they're off again toward home as the music fades into the distance. Optional percussion includes triangle, finger cymbals, and tambourine.
