This short two movement work originally for piano works well for sax trio. The da capo form modulates between the minor and major. Although the the first movement is marked fast, it may be performed in a slow tempo. If performed this way, the contrast between the two movements is strengthened. The lyrical nature of the first movement is strong enough to allow this reading. It is arranged for soprano, alto and tenor saxes. Thanks for looking.
