The Pachelbel Canon in D Major is one of the most well known Baroque pieces, worldwide, and one of the top requests for weddings. Here it has been arranged for two violins and organ. If you have a string duo booked for a wedding and there will also be an organist playing, this is the perfect solution for the entrance of the Bride: now you can play the Canon together with the organist. This arrangement was a request for just such an occasion.
As a bonus, I have also included an arrangement of the Gigue (the 2nd movement) for the same instrumentation.
The organ part has been kept on two staves, no pedals, and in a range appropriate for any organ available in any church.
