It transitions into an upbeat march, like with the trumpets charging ahead with triplets and trills. The tuba then slows it down to an even slower tempo, where the trombone and tuba play an almost eerie-sounding melody. It then speeds back up with the tuba leading with triplets and the horn and low brass repeating the melody that the trumpets had earlier in the piece. With speed picking back up, a triumphant chorus is played by the trumpets and horn, with the low brass taking it back to the D.S. There's then a dramatic build up with lead trumpet getting a short solo at the end to finish the piece.
