Brass Dynamics, eine Komposition in Form einer Ouvertüre, entstand als Pflichtstück für die 1. Klasse des Schweizerischen Brass-Band-Wettbewerbs. Es beginnt mit einem dynamischen Thema, welches das gesamte Stück prägt: Im langsamen Mittelteil erscheint es in einem ganz unerwarteten Gewand während der Schluss ist eine abgewandelte Reprise des ersten Teils ist, bevor das Werk in einer funkensprühenden Coda endet.
