One of the first recordings of the song appeared in 1968 by Judy Collins, and it has been recorded by others including Mitchell herself on her Clouds album, Dion in 1968, and Clannad with Paul Young in 1991. In this arrangement for 3-part choir (SA and Men) aim for a sustained and blended sound. You could also try doubling the melody with tenor voices and try the piano accompaniment on a keyboard with an acoustic guitar patch - or play a rolling accompmaniment on guitar using the notated chord symbols. This would suit most choirs as the parts are not complicated and there are few clashes or difficult notes to pitch.
