Book two in the series. Boomwhacker Building Blocks book 2 takes reading music using colour and Boomwhackers to the next step. The book contains 5 original and 5 popular songs. The book can be used in different ways. Downloadable backing tracks are provided for all ten songs, with two tracks provided for each. With one track having a performance of the song and the other being a backing track.
For seven of the ten songs backing chord parts and bass parts are provided for playing on Boomwhackers. These are to be used as an alternative to using the backing tracks. The other three songs are written to explore rhythm as opposed to melody, with patterns provided to mix and match.
There is also a download link provided to a PowerPoint presentation of the ten songs, with the backing tracks embedded in each page. (You of course need a copy of PowerPoint installed on your computer for this download to work.)
