Bebop improv and well covered Standard's - Nice
Attention: Masters at work--------------------------------------Very good transcriptions of the solos and very good descriptions of Grant Green's likely approaches.The influence of bebop in general and John Coltrane and Charlie Parker in particular in Grant Greens improvisations is illuminating.The bebop in Grant Green's style, combined with several solid and well covered standards makes this book and CD a wonderful addition to the jazz guitar community and a very worthy study.
