Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Digital Download

SKU: A0.971797

Composed by Britt Andrew Burns. Contemporary. Score and parts. 22 pages. Indie Classical Publications #42345. Published by Indie Classical Publications (A0.971797).

BEING WITH TIME was composed in 2002. It is one of my very early compositions and my first attempt at writing a brass quintet. I performed various low brass instruments in my younger years, and I learned a lot about how to write for brass as a result. The horn is the most challenging of the parts, but nothing here is too overwhelming for a college-level player. The work is set in a type of rondo form with various new ideas introduced throughout the work. The title is based on the feeling of peace in your life one gets while focusing on the present moment instead of worrying about the future.v Difficulty: Grade 4 (medium advanced). Duration: 4:40.
