I composed this music for an orchestra, beginning with a pleasant chord progression arpeggiated by the cellos at the outset. I also added a distinctive descending note motif that you can hear first played by the violins. These two ideas provide me with sufficient material to develop the music, including a fugue, permuting the voices and exploring various variations. Listening to this music, I am reminded of the genius of Joe Hisaishi’s music.
