Bach Composed this well known Adagio as partof his Cantata BWV 156, titled "I stand with one foot in the grave". Written in 1729 it has become one of his best known melodies. It is arranged here for Solo Alto Sax and string quartet accompaniment. An alternate solo Tenor Sax part is included.
