Great as opener or an encore, this light-hearted, yet challenging arrangement features a lot of big-band style section writing while maintaining the traditional jazz feel that is so often associated with this time-tested classic. Arranged for Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Saxophones, this arrangement of AVALON was developed for professional and collegiate groups, although this could be the perfect challenge for a very strong high school ensemble as well.
