Pachelbel
Pachelbels Hexachordum Apollinis is, according to biographers, one of his most important works. Musically its everything you would expect from Pachelbel: Not too challenging playability, sweet harmonies and recognizable chord progressions typical of the south German composer. And the pricetag of this book by Brenreiter is fairly reasonable, especially because this is a very important work. I recommend this book highly.

Enjoyable Keyboard Works
Despite the volume's title, all of the works included here work well (if not better) on the harpsichord as well as the organ. The collection Hexachordum Apollinis is especially fine music. Although some of the variations are challenging everything should be playable by an accomplished amateur. I highly recommend this collection.
