This piece makes studying your arpeggios fun! Be sure to use standard and careful arpeggio fingering so that your technique develops in a solid manner. For the most rounded skill development you can also practice switching hands so the left hand does the arpeggio part. This song is a great reward after learning the basics of arpeggios - a treat where you ARE allowed to use the pedal, unlike when you’re practicing the usual arpeggios under most curriculums.
Experiment with transposition for even more fun and skill levelling up! For instance, try to sight transpose this song up a whole tone to E minor, or down a whole tone to C Minor! You can also transpose by analyzing and writing in the chords in functional chord symbols and then play in an ‘easier’ key such as A Minor or any key on the entire piano!
"Arpeggio Magic" makes a really fun recital piece too, or something to show off to those friends and people who always want to hear ‘something fast”. This version is adapted to be easier than the full version - you can compare the two by searching up the title and my arranger name on this site.
