And the Wind Tells…, composed by Yasnoshin Morita, is a music education piece, originally written for two gagaku musicians and many students. In the piece, the clear melody of the Hichiriki and the solemn dispersed chords of the Ruan are combined with the triangle playing of a number of students. The Ruan player also plays a small bell. The students improvise on the triangle around the two performers. This is an arranged version of the two gagaku players' parts of the piece for woodwinds (oboe or clarinet) and guitar. The performance lasts approximately seven minutes.
