Book 2 for violin further concretes in the concepts learned in Book 1, and then teaches harder rhythms like triplets and 16th notes, more difficult keys, dynamics, and other things. Book 2 prepares students for Book 3 which teaches the final steps to vibrato and teaches 3rd position. In the back of Book 2 there are scales for the easier keys, along with many variations, and basic vibrato exercises which are continued in Book 3.
