The first verse is given to a soloist (possibly offstage) before the first sopranos enter with the second verse accompanied by cloud-like harmonies provided by the second sopranos and altos. The third verse is set for the tenors with further building of sound leading to a more traditional setting for the final verses. The last verse includes a new descant for the sopranos.
This arrangement is suitable for a moderate to advanced level choir, and the audience or congregation can join in with the last verse. An arrangement for choir and orchestra is also available. .
