An original composition A Time For Rejoicing is a song of joy and celebration. A Time For Rejoicing is a song of joy and celebration. It begins with a seven-measure introduction of "trumpetings" followed by the main theme, which is regal in nature with syncopated rhythms which give the music its continual forward impetus. There are contrasting sections in mood and temperament - including a very lyrical passage for optional handchimes in a contrasting key and mood. The main theme returns as the work comes to a triumphal conclusion.
