Young is Professor Emeritus of Music at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. He formerly taught at the University of Central Missouri, the University of Illinois, and in the public schools of Arkansas. From 1983 to 1993 he was a member of the music faculty of the Interlochen Arts Camp and is currently an adjunct instructor at Northwestern Michigan College and at the Interlochen Arts Academy.   What strikes me is how practical the information in each chapter is presented.
