In swingin’ Sinatra big band style, this Gershwin brother’s classic was arranged in the late 1980s for the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra (then under the direction of famed trombonist Buddy Morrow). An enduring chart – it continues to be performed by the band’s vocalists today. Vocal range: C 3 to F 4. Brass high note: Trumpet D 6 (with an optional E 6); Trombone A 4.
