Composed by Franz Jurgen Dorsam. Contemporary. 61 pages. FJD #14621. Published by FJD (A0.1006489).Three movements for organ and saxophone quartet. The second movement has no organ and can be played as well separately. Marvao is a small Portuguese town on a hill near the Spanish boarder with a castle and a cistern inside. The cistern has an amazing acoustic which inspired me to write this music. The music is written in conservative and not contemporary stile.Hope you enjoy it. It was first performed by Kantor Buehler and the Mannheim Saxophone quartet in Hockenheim/Germany.
