Moving Again was written as an intermediate piece for 7 buckets, from small plastic buckets to large storage tubs or plastic garbage cans. The opening rhythm uses quarter and eighth notes and mid-way through the piece that rhythm goes into a double time feel using eighth and sixteenth notes. Various syncopated rhythms are utilized throughout the piece by all performers and everyone is showcased in short sections. This piece is a great percussion ensemble concert piece, as a percussion feature at any school concert, or in group lessons.
