Nice violin arrangements transposed to alto clef
Very nice arrangements with a common formula. They start with the basic melody, then become embellished with key changes, triplets, etc. The thing that I really dislike about this collection is that you never need to use the C string, so they are actually written for the violin and transposed to alto clef. It's disappointing on some tunes that would be more satisfying played lower, such as Go, Tell it on the Mountain. I'll have to take the time to transpose some of them. Violists aren't wannabe violinists!
