"Mesečina" is one of the more famous Balkan brass band tunes from 1995 film, "Underground." The music begins with a slow, almost timeless intro, before slowly gathering steam and building towards a faster, more joyous tempo. It accompanies a wedding scene in the film, which a whole bundle of awards, including the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
Instrumentation: 2 trumpets, 2 horns, 2 trombones, 1 tuba, and optional euphonium (TC and BC parts both included). Features freshly composed trumpet, horn, and trombone solos instead of the original saxophone solo. This arrangement's performance time is approximately 3 minutes.
