Henri Tomasi Sheet Music

Henri Tomasi, born in 1901, entered the Paris Conservatoire at the age of sixteen where he studied under George Caussade, Paul Vidal, Vincent d'Indy and Philippe Gaubert. In 1927 he was awarded a First Prize for conducting and the Grand Prix de Rome. He began a joint career as composer and conductor. His many works show a preference for the theatre and, in the field of instrumental music, for wind instruments. Tomasi died in 1971.
