Excellent Teaching Resource for Intermediate Students
This Souvenir Edition of Phantom of the Opera is a fantastic resource for my intermediate piano students. The "melody in the piano part" is incredibly helpful for learning and sight-reading the vocal line, promoting rhythmic accuracy. The engraving is clear, making it easy to teach musicality within these beloved Andrew Lloyd Webber tunes. It presents a good challenge without being overwhelming, perfect for school and community use.

Reliable for Requests, Good Chord Symbols
This Phantom of the Opera collection is solid for casual gigs or last-minute requests. The "intermediate" piano arrangements are quite playable, and having the melody in the piano part is handy for quick reads where a vocalist might not be present. Crucially, the chord symbols are accurate and clearly laid out, which is a must for any working musician. It's a dependable book for general Broadway sets.

Solid Accompaniment, Good for Coaching
This Phantom of the Opera collection serves well for vocal coaching. Pure Enjoyment for Phantom Fans!
As an adult learner, I absolutely love playing through this Phantom of the Opera songbook! The intermediate level is perfect – challenging enough to feel rewarding but totally achievable after a bit of practice. It sounds so much like the iconic Andrew Lloyd Webber recordings from the musical, which is my main goal. The included photos are a lovely bonus. I can spend hours just enjoying these beautiful songs!

Easy but fun
This was easier to play than expected. The accompaniment had the melody line for every single note. Aside from that, if you are a fan of The Phantom, these songs are written exactly as sung and are fun to play with.

Superb!
I bought this product for my voice training teacher. She's a professional operra singer and a pro pianist. This product contains the most famous songs of the opera. She loves it and is using it as her teaching materials for voice training lessons. I'm very happy with this product!

The Phantom Of the Opera Vocal Selections
Okay. Here it is. The Phantom Vocal Selections. Bought it at the show. It was pretty easy. I'd like the arrangements to be a little more difficult. Especially the title song. This is a good challenge for beginners but unfortunately very easy for advanced players like myself. However, this book is very entertaining and a joy to play out of. I'm a huge fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber shows and love playing his tunes. if you are to buy this Music Book i'd recommend buying Evita Vocal Selections which can be bought at Sheet Music Plus and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ( Vocal Selections or Vocal Score). Also, Jesus Christ Superstar Vocal Selections which can not be bought here but at Amazon.com. The Phantom of the Opera is a great show. I would recommend buying this book but wish they would come out with the VOCAL SCORE to Phantom for a bit more of a challenge to advanced players. Have fun PHANTOM FANS!!!

more difficult level of phantom
I bought this for an adult intermediate student, but felt that it was too difficult due to the full chords and key changes. This is a very adequate version for capable players. No simplicity here. But too challenging for the casual player who is at less than late intermediate level.

Stunning
The Phantom of the Opera is my favorite musical--as such, I've loved learning the songs. So far, I can play The Music of the Night and All I Ask of You really well. I hope to learn the others and get them up to that level soon. Thank you Andrew Lloyd Webber for writing such beautiful music!
