All string parts remain in first position. Harmonics are used in the first violin, second violin, and viola part. These harmonics, with the exception of two places in the first violin part, can be played within first position. All are natural harmonics with the exception of two harmonics in the first violin part. I have also included a third violin part which can take the place of the viola. The arrangement is on an intermediate level and is designed to be played by middle- or high-school students, as well as more advanced students. Full quartet score and one copy of each part are included. Approximately 3 minutes.
