I love the presentation of the score...easy to read. Very classy. I wish the CD's can fit into a pocket on the score's cover, but alas, this doesn't exist. Just make sure you don't lose the CD's for the performance!

This concerto has thrilling orchestration and brilliant piano composition. Although the score is very difficult to read accurately, the actual performance may not as daunting as one might guess by glancing at the score. The piece requires slow and patient work - and lots of it. The package contains a good...

quality printed score with orchestral reduction as a second piano part. Also, there are two CDs (one at reduced tempo) each with a recording of the concerto plus piano and a second recording of the orchestral accompaniment only. The reduced tempo version is indispensible for learning the concerto, and moves rapidly enough that it could be used for performance in its own right. My only complaints are that neither the tempo nor the CD tracks are noted in the score. Also, it would have been nice to have a reduced tempo version of the piano plus orchestra. Well worth the investment - enjoy!!

This is a very good quality book. The cost is a bit high, but you get two cd's with it. One has the whole concerto recorded on it and the other is all the parts except the piano. So you can play the cd and play the piano part...

    with it. Very cool thing.
