Great Beginner method book
I was taught using this method and I've incorporated it in with the Howard kasschau Teach Me To Play method book for over 22 years. Together they form the best foundation learning for piano teaching! Having the additional. Audio backing tracks that come with this book has produced excellent results in student's ability to play along while keeping in perfect time with the beat! Backing tracks sound great too!

Kids love this book!
This is a great piano course and for over 21 years my students have loved using this book. Having the backing tracks is a bonus and helps develop students ability to keep in time with the beat. They easily then progress onto playing the duet books available in the John Thompson series. Highly recommend using this beginner book in conjunction with the more advanced Howard Kasschau beginner course.

Fun pieces kids love.
I use this book in conjunction with the Howard Kasschau preliminary beginner method book for all beginner students. It provides easy fun pieces with backing tracks to keep students interest and broaden their early learning experience to make them well equipped before progressing onto more advanced material in Howard Kasschau book one.

Excellent option
This book is clear and straight to the point. Many other piano systems, are divided in many books (repertoire, lessons, exercises, etc) For my taste, its too complicated a system like that. That's what I like about teaching little fingers to play its complete and basic. It has what you expect from a first book. I have used both editions, in Spanish and English. Excellent choice.
