Excellent transcription
Egon Petri's transcription highlights the resonant harmonies of Bach's work to produce a delicate, intimate and unpretentious sound. This piece has been beautifully recorded by Leon Fleischer.

Still the Best
This more than 60 year-old transcription of this famous work by Bach remains firmly the No 1 for any aspiring concert pianist. I learned the first page from this site while waiting for my copy to cross the Atlantic! I've marked this towards 'advanced' because the 'voicing' of the theme...
